On April 2 and 3, the third Jordan International Energy Summit (JIES) will be hosted at the conference center of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Amman.
Sponsored by the country’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD) and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, the JIES 2017 will focus on key energy projects and features several speakers from energy firms and governments around the world. The event will also showcase an exhibition where corporate representatives can present their expertise and projects while providing the host country with access to their latest products and technologies. At this time, Jordan will be a focal point for the industry not only in the region but throughout the world.
The energy summit expects its audience to surpass the number of attendees last year, as it welcomes delegates from more than 45 countries. According to the organizing committee, the key participants will include Ministers Ibrahim Saif of Jordan, Moulay Hafid Elalamy of Morocco, Tarek El Molla and Mohamed Shaker of Egypt, András Aradszki of Hungary, Qasim Al-Fahadawi of Iraq, Hela Cheikhrouhou of Tunisia, Abdullah Al-Akwa of Yemen, Mohamed Zayed Awad of Sudan, as well as executives Khalid Jolo from Qatar and Panos Kelamis from Cyprus.
The MEMD appointed the reputable Global Event Partners (GEP) to organize the event. Accordingly, GEP is also working closely with the events company, iJordan, and energy consultancy, Al Fardouss International, to manage it.
